I approve it being legal in CA only, not the entire us. mj#23 is to sacred to be for everyone. Ca can handle all the finances that come with mj#23.

I do believe congress should address HR 2835 so that all 48 states can consider legalizing medicinal mj#23

Cannabis/Hemp should be grown world wide to end third world suffering. It could provide the entire world with food, shelter, clothing, fuel, paper, biodegradable plastic, and medicine. Plastic bags and containers could all be replaced with hemp, since it contains a high amount of cellulose. Hemp seed contains a high level of Omega 3,6,9 along with all 10 amino acids and more protein than soy or whey. It is also more digestible.

She is refering too a comment I heard before, that if $1 BILLION was collected from cannabis tax, that could pay 20,000 school teachers a sallary of $50,000 a year. Is providing top notch education for California children not an insentive?

20,000 teachers salaries is a great point. Prohibition is killing our kids. Grouping marijuana with alcohol and tobacco as in a “soft drug” policy with regulation needs to happen.

As a soft drug marijuana would only be sold to adults of the required age.

btw if you are a smoker of tobacco, you should try camel snus. i tried some today and it’s so clean feeling in your mouth it’s amazing. it’s low nicotine and designed to have the flavored juices be swallowed. It’s like nicotine candy and only like 3 bucks for a tin. Think nicotine gum except organic and significantly more affordable. Some studies report that it is far healthier than smoked and smokeless tobaccos available.

I hate how people wont air this ad, because it “sends the wrong message.” WTF, I see alcohol ad (commercials, billboards, etc.) everyday, even when I was younger I remember seeing them. Why is ok to embrace alcohol, and not cannabis? These same stations that wont air this pro-canna ad, will show a budweiser commercial, but not a bud is wiser commercial. Pathetic.

But I love the ad, I wish more people will air it. I will repost.

okay. im calm now. good vid, but fuck the govt. i say no extortion or interference whatsoever. let people be. that is a free society.

I support most social programs, so I wouldn’t mind paying some tax on marijuana. If the legislation specifies that the tax revenue from sales goes to education, state parks, public health programs, etc, I’m all for it. Someone is going to make a profit here, some of it might as well go to aid public services instead of cartels.
Besides, it really helps the case for legalization.

Yeah, it is an improvement, but i could never justify extortion. The state cloaks itself as compassionate via its propoganda, covering up the lie that a govt could ever be more charitable than a free peoples.

I think people should not be separated from the fruits of their labor via threats of imprisonment. Until we learn to have a basic level of respect for others we will never achieve true peace, justice, or charity.
